Okay.
I had a fix for this which was like a 4 byte patch to the php-gtk.m4 file, but if I recall correctly it was decided that it was better to take the long way around of editing the windows build system (or something) instead (or something). It allowed the extensions to be built right but some of them still had linking problems, and they all had end filename problems being 'sexy.so' instead of 'php_gtk2_sexy.so' or whatnot.
