I know :( No one is complaining about the reachability of your mirror.

Not that is is even remotely relevant, but it's not even true. I have a CVS
account too, and I run nl3.php.net... But as I said: this has nothing to do
with running a mirror site.

What is the problem with this? PHP users need mirror sites which are fast,
and these companies provide that for free. The only thing the companies get
is a logo at the front page of the mirror... And I suspect not a lot of
people even look at that logo. Our company started to mirror because we
realy like PHP and we wanted the Dutch PHP users to have a good local
mirror.

That's nice!

That's a lot more important than running a mirror IMHO!

It's in http://www.php.net/mirroring.php:
If you are not an official mirror (eg. mirror the site for your company's
internal use), you should not rsync from rsync.php.net more frequently than
every three hours, or you may find your ip blocked.

Since even not-official mirrors may update every three hours, I suspect that
your update speed is rather slow...

Enjoy yourself!
