Just to let you know....
Rundig with -c php.conf did work but it didn't really index anything.
It seems that is taking values only from php.conf and not from
htdig.conf
So I had to add to the php.conf the following lines and the index is
procceeding normally (so far):
maintainer: sioakim@ace-hellas.gr
database_dir: /home/htdig/
start_url: http://gr2.php.net/
Well, as far as I can see, only start_url is needed, as database dir gets it's default value at compile time, so it does not need to be set, and maintainer is not vital for htdigs work as far as I can see...
Can you please confirm that this is right? I would like to present the simplest instructions possible on php.net ;)
