I agree completely. But I guess the point is, that we´re trying to not
only make migration between containers easier by using the same
interface, but also by using the same DB structure, so that you don´t
even need to convert your permission database when you one day decide to
use a more complex solution.
The key to making less complex containers is to maintain the API, but
provide less complexity by using less features than what the DB
structure allows. To do that, we can work with default values for any
operation (ie. user level ist always the same, etc.) and simplify the
SQL queries (ie. they don´t check for implied rights, should provide
a lot of speedup as well).
