Hi, I'm currently writing a package where I need many javascript's. Is there already a place in pear where js-files are? Currently I have these under a js-dir in the package-dir, but this is not a good solution, because I must include them with php-include and can not use the <script> tag for this. IMHO ist better to have all the JS stuff on one place, but in each package. How about a JS-package? Any other ideas, opinions?
-1, IMO it would be better to have javascript for each package in their own directory structure. At the moment, it looks like every special files like js or images will end up in a data directory upon installation. Have a look at HTML_TreeMenu.
In my case I have javascript-functions for md5, sha1, base64, md4 and some others like bin2hex, I can imagine that these functions can also be useful for other packages in the future, or not? bye, -- ------------------------------- ---------------------------------- Michael Bretterklieber - Michael.Bretterklieber@jawa.at JAWA Management Software GmbH - http://www.jawa.at Liebenauer Hauptstr. 200 -------------- privat ------------ A-8041 GRAZ GSM: ++43-(0)676-84 03 15 712 Tel: ++43-(0)316-403274-12 E-mail: michael@bretterklieber.com Fax: ++43-(0)316-403274-10 http://www.bretterklieber.com ------------------------------- ---------------------------------- "...the number of UNIX installations has grown to 10, with more expected..." - Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thompson, June 1972
