Hi, the disscussion about javascript functions in PEAR ended up without any decision. Pierre-Alain proposed to add these to the HTML_Javascript package. I think this is a good idea. Are there any other ideas, suggestions, ... bye, Pierre-Alain Joye schrieb:

In my case I have javascript-functions for md5, sha1, base64, md4 and some others like bin2hex, I can imagine that these functions can also be useful for other packages in the future, or not?
These generic function may be added in the HTML_Javascript package, I have already some kind of clientside functions to add. Using this package, you will have a common way to add the different JS libs to your pages using a standard path. Can you provide a link with your functions ? hth pierre
