Hi Tony,
I couldn't agree with you more. I've managed a lot of Java developers over
the years, and found that the stereotype is true far too often for comfort
:( Some people really have a hard-on for that language.
Problem is - the Java world has some nice stuff that PHP doesn't have, or
doesn't have production quality implementations of. Taking the mystery out
of these Java classes can only make PHP more useful to developers - not
less.
