I don´t know the TRaX API, but we´ve made a small test project a short
while ago where all business logic was implemented in Java and PHP was
handling all frontend requests. We didn´t encounter any package that we
could not use directly - the only exception being that we had to add all
custom .jar files to the classpath to have them recognized.
