Martin, I think you are missing the key point. The Net::ICQ in CPAN is
a full fledged ICQ client. The client that Tobias wrote and is
interested in publishing isn't. It's just an interface to the services
exposed by ICQ via HTTP (checking the online status and sending pager
messages).
I don't think it was meant to be Net::ICQ from CPAN at all. I've looked
over the code that Tobias wrote and as far as I can see it has a clear
purpose, and does it all the way. However, it wasn't supposed to be a
kitchen sink ;)
