I will not actively participate in the discussion, as I already have way
too much to do, so just one comment:
Generally I don't like having multiple versions of the same package, but
obviously that's what people want and obviously that will solve a lot
problems. Jan's suggestion sounds nice, but I expect that we will not
have
MDB/1.0/MDB.php
MDB/1.1/MDB.php
MDB/2.0/MDB.php
but instead
MDB/1.0/MDB.php
MDB/2.0/MDB.php
, right?
