Or by a factory-method? I wouldn't use the file-ending as the only
step to determine the archive-type. We should also provide a "manual"
way of selecting the compression.
But yes, I like the idea. Maybe we could demand that every archive-
package provides certain functions (like Java's "implements"-
directive)? Don't know if this is possible for all archives - maybe
Vincent or somebody can judge better. But it would be interesting to
be that flexible, in my eyes.
