Ok, this is now a wrapper class -- did you want to add it to the distribution for XML_Tree..? http://devel.akbkhome.com/svn/index.php/akpear/XML_Tree_Morph/Morph.php Regards Alan Alan Knowles wrote:

callbacks would be really nice.. I originally did id building & parent/searching in a util class - it may be better to keep it that way...
Doesn't XML_Transformer do that?
callbacks - Yes, kind of, although a) it was a very small change to implement b) it's alot simpler than xml transformer on non-namespaced transformations (eg. lightweight). c) you dont have to subclass to implement it.. d) AFAIR xml tranformer focuses on returning a test string, where as this focusing on returning an array / or object tree..
