Hoi List, why does DB_DataObject->generateDefinitions() assume that there must be a database name at all? There are DSNs without a database name e.g. oci8 Line 201: $file = "{$base}/{$this->_database}.ini"; I'd suggest to use a defineable filename for the database scheme. This would keep things easier when changing databases. Currently I am adapting an application initially developed for mysql to be run at mysql and oci8. Are there any updates to DB_DataObjects not in CVS concerning Oracle?
OCI8 DSNs should have a database AFAIK. Why wouldn't they? If you're using a TSN instead, it still maps to a database. I've put in a patch for DB to fix some non-TSN problems, but it still hasn't been applied yet. (Actually, it's also a patch for table / column quoting.) http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=613 -- paperCrane <Justin Patrin>
