On Wednesday 21 April 2004 01:58, I found a note on the whiteboard from Andrew
Heebner saying:

If the problem is having to rewrite bits of the code I'm sure there are people
around (including myself once get the current batch of work I'm doing) who
would be willing to help - personally I would love to have the package
available for use, but I have some reservations about it.

As has been said already, most of the PEAR devs are hugely experienced
developers - amongst them are core developers of PHP itself, who know how to
work the language to it's benefits, and people who have developed huge
websites.
And anyway, I don't think any of the PEAR devs isn't also an end user
themselves, or they wouldn't be around here.
