Hi Lukas:ok ..I have 1.6.2 installed .. or do I need cvs?Know what, I've only tested the tests from a CVS working directory and never from the installed packge's tests directory. When I initially worked on the test system, I didn't realize it gets installed. Since then I realized this but haven't had a chance to test out if it works or not. I'd guess it should, but hey, maybe not. If it's not, it's probably a path issue. Hack around and let me know what's up. If you don't feel like dealing with that right now, do your tests from a fresh CVS checkout.
Which version of PHP are you using? Under 5, I'm seeing db_error.phpt and db_error2.phpt failing due to toString() printing the class in a case sensitive manner while in PHP 4 it prints it in lowercase. Ugh. How to deal with this? Perhaps change the test so it doesn't use toString()?maybe ... or add strtolower() .. however its sort of a pity to add the strotolower() into toString() .. so just do the strtolower() in the test?
I also needed to commit a change to db_error2.phpt so that the error_reporting() call uses E_ALL.ok I will try messing with it some more. -- Lukas Smith smith@backendmedia.com _______________________________ BackendMedia www.backendmedia.com berlin@backendmedia.com Linn Zwoch Smith GbR Pariser Str. 44 D-10707 Berlin Tel +49 30 83 22 50 00 Fax +49 30 83 22 50 07
