You wouldn't require support for the (defacto) standard file format? It seems kind of silly to me to create a package that can't handle files from the majority of calendar applications. If File_IMC already handles these types of files easily then it shouldn't be too hard to integrate.
IMO these are two different things. Date_Holidays calculates holidays and ICS is a file format. It's nice to have a driver that calculates holidays based on rules defined in a ICS file, but I see use for this package without this special driver. Best regards, Stephan
