I think that you are taking it the wrong way. Bugs are not something you can decide to fix or not but something you should get rid off as soon as you can. I have been asked to send reminds re: open bugs, so I did.
I think the QA team is definatelly bluring some lines here. And politeness surely does not cut it. Also 1.3r2 is not production code, it is by no means critical code which should urgently be fixed (I would still find this interention intrusive never the less). Well allow me to disagree. You have open bugs, this is an objective situation so is not something we should discuss about. If these bugs are no longer relevant kindly close them by selecting "fixed in CVS" or "fixed in release".
I hope this is not going to become the standard practive of PEAR-QA. I get enough prodding to get things done at work thank you very much.
Excuse me but I have 260 bugs to sort ;) Just close your bugs if they are fixed or no longer relevant, it will save you a lot of time and will make your package more appealing to PEAR users. Cheers David Costa
