I think the QA team is really confusing quality and assurance with
project managment. I for one don't need a manager for doing pear work. I
fact in stead of wasting time sending reminders you should try to fix
some of the bugs you are nagging about, it would be much more productive.
The only thing you are going to do with this aproach is piss of several
people. Nobody likes being told what to do especially when they are
doing it for free.

~From your comments below i think am taking it exactly the right way.

| Well allow me to disagree. You have open bugs, this is an objective
| situation so is not something we should discuss about. If these bugs are
| no longer relevant kindly close them by selecting "fixed in CVS" or
| "fixed in release".
This will be done when I have time to do it, sending me annoying emails
will definatelly not make the process faster.

| Excuse me but I have 260 bugs to sort ;) Just close your bugs if they
| are fixed or no longer relevant, it will save you a lot of time and will
| make your package more appealing to PEAR users.
I didnt know this was a popularity contest, am not out to win any hearts
out there.
I bet that would get you even more hate mail, I sugest avoid yousing
your email for it
