Hi,

Here is a gem of timing: http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=1840 Bug opened [2004-07-11 02:25 UTC] reminder sent [2004-07-11 22:14 UTC] Of course I am guilty of not closing the bug in 20 hours! ;]Also consider the following. Maybe I was already going to address these bugs. But now I'll hesitate to do this: you may think that I did this because of your successful spam run.I also found the method of reminder mildly annoying until I realized that David was not singling out my package, but this doesn't mean the bugs don't exist. It also doesn't mean the reminders are unnecessary - some of them could have had better timing, that's all.
Alexey: this wasn't exactly viagra ads, perhaps it can be forgiven? This wasn't viagra ads, but when I receive [pear-bug] letters I hope to see an update on the problem or, better yet, a patch. Don't expect me to apologize for forwarding the stuff to the lists. If it is OK for me to receive 4 useless letters, it is definitely OK for all the readers of pear-dev and especially pear-qa.
