Hi,

I am not against the *idea* of "friendly reminder" (a nice euphemism), but the implementation of them leaves much to be desired. 1) I received 4 "friendly reminders", 1 per package. 2) I received a "friendly reminder" for a new bug, opened only A DAY AGO! WTF? 3) The "friendly reminders" look like the legitimate bug comments. 4) The "friendly reminders" pollute the bug system. I suggest sending 1 reminder per *developer*, with the stats for all the packages he maintains. And please phrase it neutrally, like "here are the bug stats for your packages, blah-blah". And do not use bug system for this. Also consider the following. Maybe I was already going to address these bugs. But now I'll hesitate to do this: you may think that I did this because of your successful spam run.If you are pissed off by a friendly reminder..what about closing them or updated their status ? oh right you are too busy posting your rants on the list.I think that you are taking it the wrong way. Bugs are not something you can decide to fix or not but something you should get rid off as soon as you can.I think that you are taking it the wrong way. Comments in bug system are designed to give additional info to developers and to help them, not to piss them off.
