There is no current state, well martin made some code which is in
/include on pearweb, but it has to be changed a lot I guess, never
looked at it.

No we being the web team, since we deal with account requests and such
(In the programming sense), those who control the lists are some PHP sys
admins, we have emailed many many times about getting some better spam
protection on pear-cvs, never got no answer, so you can imagen how it is
about asking for pear-bugs, the fact is that people are doing this for
free, so we just can't expect for people to be around 24/7 nor anything
like that.
