I also know what people are in charge of those mailing lists, that's not the problem really. Also the pear-cvs spam has been discussed a lot and many different people tried to contact the sys admins like I said before. Dunno though what you mean with some checkboxes, people usually use mail clients or news clients, we were thinking more along the lines of allowing only the cvs commits to be emailed there, no one else would be able to do that. - Helgi
