It seems that too many proposals get lost in draft status. Or stay there
too long. I think there could/should be the possibility of discussion
regarding the merits of the package itself. Something like the initial
discussion that used to take place on pear-dev. It seems (and here I may
be a bit out of touch) that some people first make a draft before
talking about the whole concept on pear-dev. Being able to comment
*before* code is written should be really helpful.
