I see your point... Is there a notice at the top of each published draft notifying the author that he needs to initiate discussion on pear-dev and then continue to monitor pear-dev? Maybe that would be enough... Then we could just mail out a message to pear-dev if we feel the need to comment. In that case, I'd gladly retract my +1 :) The only thing, of course, is that then you can't follow the discussion very well. But in the interest of not snowing new people, maybe that's how it should be. Klaus
