Alexander, I also see that the win part of PEAR is a large area that still need to be improved ! I already start to work on the pear-win scripts in order to add the missing commands that exists in unix scripts, but failed mainly because of the no support of XML-RPC. On my win system I can run the pear.bat script, with the following changes : adding : set PHP_SYSCONFDIR=d:\php\bin\php modifying : %PHP_PATH%\php.exe -c %PHP_SYSCONFDIR% -q %PEAR_INSTALL_DIR%\scripts\pearwin.php %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 I did not have enought time (unfortunatly) to commit myself on a work to improve the win part of the package installer. But I will do as soon as I can.
