The situation with the PEAR web and the PEAR installed is just bad now.
The web is still beta, the installer is hard to setup, etc. The amount
of people requesting help and info is getting too high, also the
external projects that have started to use PEAR components. If we are
not able to do an extra effort to get all the things completed and
working soon will end flooded and flamed by many frustated and potential
users/contributors.
This is just a "call for finish what we have started" for those who want
to see that taking success.
