works for
Ruby Gems on Github.
I'd use this service for:
1.) packages I have in development,
2.) packages I have proposed for inclusion in PEAR
3.) packages for which I don't have time to clean-up and propose, but
could still be useful to the community.
4.) packages that would otherwise be rejected by PEAR
5.) etc...
