I disagree with you. The original feature request was posted by a 3rd party. I suggested the methodology of having each author post a comment. We had the conversation about the license via email, and included pear-dev. I also, twice, directly emailed all the authors. Since bug reports are not sent out to people marked inactive. Going to reopen this for now. (btw this one should have been closed with won't fix instead of bogus given the reasons you gave.)
