This is the number one feature for me, I am a licencee for that reason ;) It is so much easier to create your page template in Adobe inDesign, convert it in PDF and use it in all your PDFLib generated pages than to create it from scratch using PDFLib API. If you could have a look at this functionality, it would be great. > "Closed architecture": > I can't make it conventient for everyone. :-) In my eyes the task was to > simplify the rather comlex PDFlib, while keeping it as flexible as possible. > PC4P is for people, who want to rapidly create a report for example, without > having the hassle to calculate coordinates for hours and hours. I have a few questions I hope you will answer : - Is there an object for drawing circles ? - Can I use native PDFLib functions when using PC4P ? - Can I use my .upr definition file with PC4P ? - What does PC4P means :) ? > So far I've tried to accomodate every developer, who approached me with a > feature-request or question or whatever...so, Bertrand, how may I be of > assistance? ;-) Well, joking apart, I'm planning to make a new release until > next Monday and after that it might be interesting, to get into contact with > Johann to ask him about his ideas. As always, I don't have much time and I haven't used PC4P, but I have a knowledge of PDFLib as I used it recently for a big catalogue project. There should definitely be a PDF class in PEAR !
