But why is using someone spaces and tabs mixed up?? And in every editor a tab still is a tab.
I don't program in diff and less is as far i know read-only.
You know, at the company i work we have some 'special' developers keyboards. In the past
WP and AutoCad had keyboard layers telling you with function key did what.
On the dev-layout tab is written as 'indent'
Every used the 'indent' tool?? Guess what that tool is making of 4 spaces?
I'm ok that indent uses 4 places and i don't care if that are 4 spaces OR 1 tab.
b.t.w. The indenting of less is configurable. (-x4 or --tabs=4)
