All classes that do math use some sort of algorithm. That's simple. Buth luhn check is a clear case of a validation algorithm.. Like i tried to explain before, the luhn check is used for more numbers than just creditcard numbers. Sometimes not even related to payments. I know insurance companies that create the insurance number based on the luhncheck. But from a coding standpoint 'require_once("validation/luhncheck.php")' seems more apropiate than 'require_once("algorithm/luhncheck.php")'.
