pear install - proxy setting?

dear all is there a way to set a proxy for the pear web installer? i am at the university here, sitting on a proxy and did not have this problem at home. since i am able to download a tarred package using the browser but not via: pear install http://pear.php.net/get/Cache .. it seems, that this must be a connection problem. do you have any ideas? i am working with the latest win release from a todays download from http://snaps.php.net/win32 [php-4.3.0-dev]. *** C:\PHP\pear\scripts>pear install http://pear.php.net/get/Cache downloading http://pear.php.net/get/Cache ... http://pear.php.net/get/Cache: failed to download () install failed C:\PHP\pear\scripts> *** thanx in advance, urs
