Umm, I'm thinking on another problem. When a user changes his php_dir
config var, he will loose all the registry DB. At least we should alert
that issue on some way.
# pear config-set php_dir foo
Warnign! Changing the php_dir you will loose all the ..., use "-f" for
doing it anyways
# pear config-set -f php_dir foo
The warning will not be showed up at installation time, of course.
