The packages for the 3 are at http://docs.akbkhome.com/ = pear install http:/docs.akbkhome.com/.....tgz etc. No guarentees that it works though :) Template_Flexy is Wolfram's SimpleTemplate modified rather heavily to do a few other things - it is similar to smarty, just alot thinner and simpler... there is some documentation in the code : http://docs.akbkhome.com/akpear/ and a little bit in the documentation have fun regards alan Bertrand Mansion wrote:

Hé, hé ! I am thinking about such a system for about 6 months now. Didn't came out of my brain yet. Don't know what Template_Flexy is. I am thinking about IT and Smarty. the advantage of Smarty is that it allows plugins. the advantage of IT is that it is much more expandable because the syntaxt is so easy. It might only be necessary to add 'modifiers' into placeholders declaration and this would do the trick.
the principle is the scripts builds templates which have tags for the HTML_QuickFroms.. the templates can then be hand crafted to exact requirements..
I am really sad you made it before me ! You could at least have consulted me ;-) I am really interested to see how you've done it and to work on the code if necessary. IMO, there is place for a real CMS here, much more flexible than PHPNuke or consors.
It's extremely experimental.. - but very efficient...
You are teasing... bad boy !

Hi, Before I start playing around with any code, has anyone else written/started work on a script that will take an XML config file and build a form using HTML_QuickForm out of it?

Hi Peter, I would be interested to see what you can come up with. I have thought of such a system but never started it. I think there is some xml support in OOH_Form but I don't know if it works neither how it's done. You might want to have a lot at that first. I don't know if both structures could be compatible, this way, developers could use QuickForm or OOH_Form indifferently. Bertrand Mansion Mamasam
