Hello,
I did it! :) See the result at
http://www.mocsnik.hu/pear_manual_hu/
(the first 2 chapters are translated below I. About PEAR).
I had to re-install the sgml-base package, don't ask why. I ran the cygwin installer again and it showed me that this package was not correctly installed.
So, what you have to know about Cygwin (you may add this to the manual or send it later to any new translators using windows):
--8<--------------------->8--
Using the steps you can read at
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/t.b/Temp/faq.windows-test-xmlfiles.html you _don't have to run anything else than the Cygwin installer_ to be able to build the whole manual in windows. However, note that you have to do the steps specified in section 1.16.2. and _completely forget about section 1.16.1._ which is at the top of the page. Scroll down and you can get it working in 10 minutes. Be sure to use the cygwin mirrors specified on this page or you won't see the packages "docbook-dssl, docbook-sgml, openjade, sgml-base". After pasting the mirror url to the cygwin mirror selection window be sure to add it first to the mirror list, select the mirror from the list, and click next only after that.--8<--------------------->8-- Thanks for y'all for the support and I hope the hungarian version will be up soon. Norbert, You need to install the dsssl stylesheets for docbook, which are available from James Clark's website on sourceforge, do a google search for docbook dsssl stylesheet (note - 3 S's in dsssl). Then, you will need to place them in a location that configure can find them. I had lots of trouble with this, so perhaps Thierry's FAQ will help you: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/t.b/Temp/faq.windows-test-xmlfiles.html Greg
