It seems like Adobe has done something like this with their acrobat reader
downloads page. When you click the link to download, you are served a popup
window with some friendly html, and the download box appears. It's really
throwing me for a loop too. I've been plugging away for hours trying to
figure this one out... but...
Oh, wait, as I write this, it occurs to me that they might be using a
frameset, using a small frame to call the download page and a large frame to
display some friendly HTML.
I'll give this a shot. If it doesn't work, I may have to throw in the
towel.
