You can see where its formatted in the insert and update methods, we could prob create a function here to format the data and then use MDB2 casting if its an option. I can see if there is no date is appends a null to the query, there was an issue however where my dates werent being quoted and the last command intval was chopping my dates into years which is why i think i had to cast all my dates ??yes it will. and it will also not work perfectly for some datatypes. i think it would be worthwhile to explore how to make db_do use the mdb2 datatypes. if this requires changes i am all ears. i kinda thought the idea of using bit operations to determine that a date needs to be quoted like text kinda neat.just dont pass a type to $mdb2->quote() and MDB2 will do its best to guess a type.Right so leave the quote out ? Will this take extra time ?
