We are discussing adding things like user comments to the packages/docs
etc.
If the PEAR meeting turns out to be a success in terms of decision
making be sure that we will come back with a lot of todo's. And there we
will be greatful if people help out. Until then please try to limit user
requests to a more "here is a good idea" approach. ATM we are getting
flooded with the same "requests" daily. And then it needs to be enough
when we point to the fact that we are working on that request.
So what I am saying here?
Be patient. We are building up a huge infrastructure here:
A lot of developers
Tons of LOC
Which needs testing suites, docs, tutorials
Version management
A sense of direction and unity across the packages etc
We already have a lot of pieces in place but there is still a lot of
work ahead so rushing decisions now is also not the answer.
So to make a long story short: Make sure we get well thought out ideas
and requests that we havent already put on our agenda. And please be
patient.
Regards,
Lukas
