Hi Daniel Convissor! On 06/15/04 18:10 you wrote:
This list should be the default for the PEARWeb email constants, when in dev-box mode.
I disagree. I prefer Helgi's idea.
Let's make a new function for pearweb that looks and acts just like PHP's mail() function. If DEVBOX is true, then the mail should be sent to a user configurable email address, or if that's not set, to the sendmail_from value from php.ini.
The function idea sounds bad to me. Many places to change it, because mail() can not be overwritten (AFAIK). Then just having the mail definitions in the if (DEV-BOX) block sounds more usefull. Anyway, that does not solve the problem, that if someone codes a new feature for PEARWeb and want's it to be tested by the public, they cannot test the mailings, since test mails should not be send to productive lists, if possible. For this purpose a test list would be extremly useful. Regards, Toby -- Tobias Schlitt GPG Key: 0xA6529579 a passion for php http://www.schlitt.info
