Which part of "like" did you not understand ? Is it a expression you don't
use back in the US ?
if I say "The man was like 6 feet tall" that would mean "That man was around
6 feet tall" ...
i.e. I'm uncertain but I think I can guess near the right number ...
About the backends, I saw mysql only one, db one and db_do one if I remember
things correctly ... so what were all those doing in the code then ? Just
hanging around having a bud ?
When I look at it I see 3x backends,
http://cvs.phpdoc.org/browse.php/PEAR_Server/Server/Backend/
... one is
pearweb specific (pear::db used there), mdb and DO, I guess the mysql only
is a install only thing ...
So why do you not appreciate uninformed opinions when you can't even give
out informed facts ?
Now I can venture a guess that you'll say "only one is maintained others are
just legacy", then I want to state out front, I'm making my uninformed
opinions from what I see from CVS and saw in the past when I spent quite a
bit of time trying to install that thing.
I think this whole thread and topic should just be dropped, this has gone
into none sense and finger pointing and does not good, savvy?
