That's not accurate, stay tuned for the upcoming chinese and korean mirrors. ...
Right now it is 100% accurate. Until such time (if ever) I can unconditionally rsync mirror your repository onto my box in front of me I do not consider your site relevant, and certainly not "open". So from my point of view your site provides a disservice to me because I refuse to play your little subversive game on principal. I am a fierce open source supporter and anything less than the full quid is unnacceptable... as I see it, you are doing nothing but helping to fracture and divide (PHP) open source in general.
kind of "stabs" once in a while from certain members of the PHP core developers team just because they disagree from my point of view.
I am not a core developer and speak for no one but myself. Perhaps ask yourself why you get these self-acknowledged "stabs". I don't see the core developers trying to slay everyone in their path.
You may not realize just yet who you are hitting, but some day you will.
That veiled threat cuts both ways pal. I was going to apologise to the list for starting this OT thread but it's not OT. Consider one reason (of many) why PEAR has taken so long to get going with any real substance... where has most of that "substance" been siphoned off to over the last year in particular. Have I heard a particluar person offering to transfer his "spoils" back to the masses... no. --markc
