The PEAR PHP license will be GPL compatible. Discussions are underway
with RMS in other forums on how to best achieve this compatibility between
BSD-style licenses and the GPL.
If this is the case then I agree that dual license is not necessary. I was only looking for commitment to make sure PEAR was GPL compatiable not that it be under the GPL license. Hopefully you will stick to this commitment. Thank you for a civil discussion and not a flame war.
