I think it would be more compelling if you could build a rank of the top bug fixers. Seeing their name in the hall of bug fixers fame would be a much greater motivation to attract more and new bug fixers, don't you think?
And while the Annual Bug Hunt was tounge-in-cheek, it's quite FUNNY and of high entertainment value, if you ask me... Only Annual doesn't quite cut it... Perhaps a monthly "Bug Hunt" time-frame of, say, 2 days, and prizes/awards/whatever...
Actually nothing stops you to make it daily bug hunt. The issue is why splitting in bug packs will make people spend more time fixing bugs than before? Basically, the compensation for fixing any bugs is the same, so I don't see many new bug fixers coming. This is why I suggested the bug fixers ranking. Actually it used to exist in the past versions of the bug tracking app. Anyway, it seems that Derick that people that fix bugs are not entitled to more recognition that they can have today, or was it because it another idea from Manuel Lemos? Nah, Derick would never be biased against Manuel Lemos! :-) Maybe I should use an alias so I don't get biased responses to my suggestions. Richard, can I become your brother and have a name like, Manuel Lynch? I am sure nobody would notice that was me! :-) -- Regards, Manuel Lemos
