Going from memory, something like not finding config.status (?) in the Zend directory, a file that is produced by running buildconf in the Zend directory. Running buildconf in Zend first and then running it in php4 seems to work correctly. Also, when the first attempt at buildconf failed, the links from php4 back down to the Zend and TSRM directories were not created, which added to my confusion. However, once its all sorted out, it works fine. As I said, written from memory, so some of the details may be a little off. -- jalal --
