That wont work. The autoconf from ports is patched to call 'm4 -g'
which is the gnu-compatibility switch in OpenBSD m4. If you swap
binaries with GNU-m4, it'll break since it doesn't recognize that
extra switch. Of course, you could install autoconf from outside
of the ports tree to get around this, but then your entire OS
will be a bit hosed with a dodgy autoconf and m4 :)
Recommended solution for OpenBSD-2.7:
Check out openbsd-2.7-stable into /usr/src
(www.openbsd.org/anoncvs.html for info)
cd /usr/src/usr.bin/m4
cvs update -PAd <-- this step updates m4 only to -current
make && make install
