pdflib and thread support broken in 4.0b2? gd and snmp update?

I believe thread safety and pdflib lib support is broken in 4.0b2's configure script. Before I give it a more in depth look, can someone look into this and confirm? Also, where would I send patches for compiling with gd 1.6.x, it needs to use the new tiff functions as it no longer creates gif's, something configure should look at. Also, in the SNMP extension, snmp.c:78, the "missing definition" is now included in UCD SNMP 4.0b7 (the one I compile with), and should not be defined in the sources.
