We could have the text "loading.." for each description by default, then
when the 10 or less items descriptions are aquired, then it will update the
loading text.
I like the position of the autocompelte on apple.com too, check my version
of the autocompelte, i modified it's offset , which was hard-coded into the
plugin before.
I modded the plugin to make the default offset specifyable via the
configuration options.

Things like these are steps towards making it more appealing rather than a
boring white <div> that pops up with some options in it.
