That means anyone except IE6/7 can use it, for all I care those could just not get an auto-complete field at all, and just submit the search. If it makes our lives easier, imo it's completely acceptable to skip IE6/7 as long as it degrades well and doesn't prevent them from using the site/search. Consider that uk.php.net server stats for february show 10% of visits from IE6/7 combined. This is likely to drop even more by the time we push this. For all other browsers, I don't think people are stuck with crappy old versions, so I'd say it's ok to use it. Cheers, Jordi
