Maybe you should from time to time use tools like valgrind. That is what brought me to memory overruns insede constant handling. I was not really on a bughunt inside the engine, so perhaps only fixed the syntoms instead of the real problems. But as said it does the trick for all i tested so far. The code in question here is wrong according to my understanding of this part i now have. However it was Rob Richards who had a real problem with it under windows. regards marcus
