To itself, surely. I say for $N'th time - references are like Unix files, they do *NOT* point to other variable, they point to variable contents. Saying $a = &$b means "make a point to the same contents as b does".
That does not matter. *If* we had a function that extracts that *virtual* information like print_r does we could serialize that information to.
No. There's no such thing as "reference points to variable", there is a thing that "reference is an operation which makes two variables point to the same content".
Despite that would not represent how references are preseneted technically it would allow serializing references. regards -- o----------0-¬---------O-·---¬----o---®-----o o O ° . | http://www.kiffen.de | pRoteçt y0ur bRaín |0 O ° ¤ ° · 0°·³°²'²³-¹'³´³°^°³~³²³°'³²²¨³²^³¹³²°²³`³º³°Þ ° o © ° . · | psychedelic experience | gott@kiffen.de | O ° o ° o-¬--o--0-----©-·--O-----o-----0-¤----------o 0 ° · ° . ¤ ·
